So today I wanted to load a few old Akai sample CD's which I bought second hand into my DAW and see how they sound. Of course I use the newest version of Kontakt 7 - but I also have K5, K6 ready to go if I need to - NONE let me import Akai CD's. Also, soundfont compatibility seems to be gone in K7 - can someone explain that to me? Why would you remove that feature?
Are TX16Wx and Halion the last two great samplers when it comes to loading old sampler content?
