Hey everyone, I'm hoping to get some more eyes on my new product, Chordial. It has over 3,600 chord progressions that you can use. You can do a couple of things, like record and trigger the chords via key bindings on your MIDI piano and then drag it directly to a DAW track. The other new option is to use what is called a rhythm template. They are basic patterns that you can swap the chord progressions into. At the moment, there are over 100 rhythms and they are all from copyright free songs; so they are not modern or great to use in many cases. However, it is entirely unique. You have the option to add your own folder of midi files to use as rhythm templates, too. The plugin works best with simple 4 chord patterns; ideally without melodies or accent notes. Some users have compared it to musical dice, being able to shuffle/select from so many progressions at will.
In the future, I intend to make it all much more useable. I want to enhance the chord detection and maybe even find a way to transpose the melody/accent notes to match our chord. I also need to get more modern rhythm templates to package with the base plugin. I know that it has a lot of potential, but I'm hoping to get some more feedback. I've already made another post at viewtopic.php?t=617287 which led to a few people downloading Chordial. If you would be willing to leave me your feedback, I have 11 downloads left available using the code "KVR100" for you to get a free copy. The plugin is available for Windows as a VST3 and Mac as an AU. This is my first product and I am the sole developer, so I'd appreciate your suggestions on how to get this plugin into more users hands as a valuable production tool. I know it will be useful for new producers and experienced alike.
If you enjoy the plugin, please give it a good review on my store page as well!
