I'm using the Hive 2 CLAP in Bitwig 5.2.x on Mac. Working great. Love the polyphonic modulation just-works note expression for pitch and stuff.
One thing is bugging me, though: Bitwig's browser/library list is now chock full of thousands of Hive factory presets.
I rarely want to pick a synth's factory preset directly from this list, which is why I have spent a long time setting up Bitwig's browser to not display presets in as many cases as possible.
But, sometimes, when Bitwig's "insert something" popup appears and I'm trying to add something, I need to hit the tab key on the keyboard to show "Everything" because the default browser filtering for that view doesn't show what I want. And, when I do that, it's just full of Hive factory presets.
Because whatever word I'm searching for, you better believe there's a Hive factory preset with something close to that in its name.
It's not the end of the world… but it's definitely worse for me than before I had the Hive 2 CLAP installed, and was only using the VST3. The Hive factory presets are great, but I really don't want to see them this often or have them fill my search results when I'm trying to insert a plate reverb effect.
Is there any way to stop this from happening? I'd prefer to just have Bitwig be blissfully unaware of Hive's factory presets.
