I'm trying to permanentky delete lots of plugins from my old MacBook Pro OS Catalina, but when I go into /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components and look in the AU and VST folders, they are empty, so I can't delete them.
This is strange as I have many years worth of audio plugins on the MacBook, and they deffinitely work in a DAW. I'm wanting to set it up as a dedicated workhorse to use with Gig Performer software, and would like to trash many plugins I no longer need and/or are now unlicensed.
I hope someone here can suggest a workaround for this.
