Instruments • EZ Drummer 3 - How to make sense of the enormous HH map and just use CC 4 for open/closed?

Hi, demo'ing EZDrummer 3 and trying to figure out how best to have it play back Logic Drummer. Logic Drummer has 7 articulations for tip, shank, edge, and these cover closed to open for each hit type.

In EZ Drummer 3 I see there are extensive options to deal with HH. If using GM MIDI setting,

I see there is Closed Edge, Tight Edge, then 6 open sounds.

Also Closed Tip, Tight Tip, then 6 open sounds.

Then Pedal Closed, Pedal Open. Logic has HH Foot Closed, and HH Foot Splash. Is HH Foot Splash in Logic like the EZ Pedal Open?

Then in EZ there are

Edge Trigger 7
Tip Trigger 8

So does this mean that I can use these notes 7 and 8 with, say CC$, and that would get me all the HH control I need?
