Sorry if there is already a thread on this, I couldn't find it.
When tracking guitar at my desk, I get chirpy electrical interference. I found it got worse when my guitar is closer to my desktop PC under the desk.
So I moved the PC off the floor and to the side and it's improved. If I roll away from the desk when tracking guitar it's usable.
I'm just wondering if I'd be better off getting a Macbook for tracking so I can run off the battery (to avoid any ground issues) and get away from the EMI caused by my PC.
Or is a Macbook just as bad for EMI?
