Hi!
I know I'm not describing this well in the subject line.....
I recall last month or so, I was noodling around and came across a setting (cant recall whether it was track or generator related... my guess is track) where is was able to conform or at least base the new track note and timing a previous track.
So, I had a cello line which I liked and wanted to add a viola part that meshed well with the cello line. In the past it meant a lot of tweaking and such after the fact as each generator would spit out data without taking any kind of 'song level rhythm's or motifs' into consideration... It always sounded a bit too random without any cohesion.
Well, imagine my surprise when I found a setting that would let the cello track 'influence' the viola track! I haven't had a chance to revisit RC since that time (nor did I save it).... Today I loaded up the latest version and I cant find a setting like that anywhere.
Am I really mis-remembering? I didn't think that was possible in RC at the time, so i was excited to stumble up on it... now I am not sure I wasn't dreaming it.
Anyone understand what I am rambling on about?![Smile :)]()
