I set the option useV2Engine="1" in the Settings.xml file so Sylenth1 would use its older V2 engine.
I love how the V2 engine sounds:very late 2000s/2008 electropop vibes.
However, I’ve noticed a weird issue when using it: Sylenth1 crashes whenever I select certain presets, especially the SFX presets from Factory Bank 1.
For example, the preset " 122:SFX Eerie Mist" from Factory Bank 1 consistently crashes Sylenth1 with the V2 engine enabled.
It's mostly the SFX presets and the drum presets that crash... Most BS and LD seem to work with no issues
Why does this happen?
For context, I’m using Sylenth1 v3.073 (64-bit VST3) on Windows 11 with FL Studio 21.
This is sad because i prefer how the plugin sounds in V2, i wish there was an option in the plugin menu to use the older engine instead of having to edit the .xml file too
I really love this plugin it's the best
