Instruments • does it exist: a "sample player" to play 1 sample, ->looped<-, with no need of a trigger nor host tempo/play (VST3/AU) ?

The title says it all:
does it exist: a "sample player" to play 1 sample, ->looped<-, with "no need of a trigger"* nor "host tempo/play"* ? Has to be a plugin for mac. (VST3/AU).
One press of a button within the plugin to activate the play is fine.
(* thats crucial)


i do that job so far within WaveLab.
But i need to have that functionality available as a plugin (mac). AU oder VST3.
(i do not work within DAWs. And i like to have one tool that i could load in any host)

As a further option, I´d also want to play a (highlighted) snipped. Or set sample start/end.....ideally incl. a optical zoom in functionality to set it up.

Can be any sort of plugin.....i just went thru my bin. found nothing.
But maybe you know a hack for some common plugins ?

any tipps ?
