Everything Else (Music related) • I tickled AI ... and it barked back.

So here's a funny story. :D

Since AI started emerging, I had this idea in my head to try to use it a bit outside of the box. To pretty much replicate Peter Gabriel's mindset that he had when samplers were coming up. To take that concept, flip it on it's head and do something cool with it. ...asking some philosophical questions on the way. :ud:

So I made it happen and shoe a video about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtyQ-XkyQBA

...but since I've put this video out (both in Czech and English versions), I started to feel a tiny bit of pushback. :dog: I think I under-estimated how devisive this topic is. Eventhough I directly sh*ttalk Suno and Udio at the end of the video, to some viewers it comes as too optimistic towards AI. That's sad. I think, when used just as an instrument, AI can be really useful, inspiring and creative tool. But Suno and Udio kinda shifted the zeitgeist towards association "AI = push a button and song pops out". <--- Which is lazy.

Now I kinda feel the need to slap "NO AI" sticker on the rest of my music and 3D art, to shake of any unwanted associations I might have caused by this experiment. :D

What's your thought on this?

(Excuse my crappy voice. Captions included if in trouble.)
