MeldaProduction • Emulating elastique's Envelop Order technique with MTransformer

Let me start by saying that I have no formal mathematical training in regards to Fourier transforms and related topics. Currently, I'm attempting to emulate a parameter in the elastique Pro engine (as used in Kontakt's Time Machine Pro) for Envelop Order in conjunction with the formant shift for a particular voicing of the sound. It's not clear to me if this parameter is increasing harmonics for the spectral envelop itself, or even what the main shape of the envelop is to begin with. Does anyone have a clear understanding of this and would know the best manner for achieving this with MTransformer or other methods if possible?

From elastique Pro API doc:

Code:

SetEnvelopeOrder() virtual int CElastiqueProV3If::SetEnvelopeOrder (int iOrder ) [pure virtual]Sets the order of the spectral envelope estimation. The default is set to 128 whichworks fine for most material. If the input audio is really high pitched the order shouldbe lowered (lowest value is 8) otherwise if the input audio is low pitched the valueshould be raised (up to 512). This is only available in either one of the ”Pro” modes
