Relative newbie, here, about 2mths with Ableton Live 12
I have tried installing Ample Guitar M II Lite multiple times now, following the installation instructions and letting it choose its own file destinations. I did finally manage to get the standalone app running, ASHost.
But I can't get Ableton Live 12 (AL12) to see it. I have set AL12 to look in the following locations.
"C:\Program Files\VST"
"C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins"
"C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins\Ample Sound"
"C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTPlugins"
"C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Ample Sound"
"C:\Program Files\Ample Sound"
"C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins\AGML2.dll"
"C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins\AGML2x86.dll"
My head is spinning now, so any suggestions or guidance would be very welcome.
The standalone app produces some fantastic sounds and I really want to try them out properly.
